Fastener
Very High Bond Tape Fastener
This fastener is superior in strength, adhesion and durability,
when compared to screw fasteners. Installation takes only a
couple of minutes. The only restrictions are that it has to
be installed on a polished or very flat surface and that the
temperature on the surface is above the freezing point (32 degrees
F).

Surface Preparation
How to Clean Surface
Where heavy grease, oil or dirt is present, use a degreasing
solvent. All solvents will leave behind a slight film, therefore,
final cleaning should be with a mixture of 50% water and 50%
rubbing alcohol to obtain best results. Wipe dry with a clean
cloth or paper towel.

Installation
How to Install Medallion
The medallion is shipped with the tape already applied to
its back. You just have to peel the release liner from the back
of the medallion. Also place a small amount of silicon gel glue
(see monument dealer) on the back of the tape in the center
to compensate for the curvature of the portrait. Place it on
the monument and give firm pressure on it for about a minute.
Make sure you install it in the exact location desired because
the bond is instant.
